The Club was originally created, by former pupils and Staff of The Wallasey Grammar School, as a private members Club, where they could meet sociably with other old boys from the School. Hence it was called The Old Wallaseyans' Club. Recently the members decided to change the name to The Wallaseyans' Club and broadened our Membership to embrace any people who have a connection, with the Wallasey area.

Within our Grove Road premises you will find a warm friendly welcome at our well stocked bar, including real ales and guest beers. On Thursday's we have a Jazz night, and at least once a month we have an entertainment or themed dinner evening.

Membership gives you and your guests the use of the four full sized snooker tables and you can join many of the active groups within the club, i.e. Snooker, Bowls, Outdoors activity group, Wine Society, Art Group, Bridge Clubs, Craft Sessions and many more activities.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Loyalty Card Scheme

Membership of the Wallaseyans' Club is open to all applicants (over 18 years of age) on the basis of equality and upon the appropriate sponsorship of either existing Members or through the Membership Secretary.
Membership falls into six categories:

Full Annual Member
Open to all applicants over 25 years.

Senior Annual Member
Open to members over 65, having paid at least seven years Full Annual Fees.

Country Annual Member
Open to any applicant residing outside the area of the Wirral, north of the southern boundaries of the postal districts CH42, CH43 and CH61.

Joint Full Annual Member
Open to any applicant and his/her spouse. Both members have full voting rights at general meetings.

Junior Annual Member
Open to all applicants under 25 years of age.

Associate Member
Open to spouse or partner of a Full Annual Member. Associate Members do not have any voting rights at general meetings.
