The Wallaseyans' Club Invitation K.O. Quiz 2011

The three teams were X R T, St. James' Choir and Wallasey Civic Society. This was a closely contested final with only eight points separating the teams at the end of the quiz. It was in rounds six and seven that Wallasey Civic Society established a significant lead. This advantage was reduced in the last three rounds by the two other teams but they could not manageto overcome the deficit.

The Club was pleased to welcome, Mrs. Jean Eccles, who presented the Ken Eccles Trophy to Eric Bushell of the Wallasey Civic Society. Her late husband, Ken had introduced the competition in 1994 and donated the trophy which has been contested on an annual basis ever since.
