SATURDAY 4TH FEBRUARY 8PM - FILM NIGHT

 

This month's film presented by mark Baker is "IN BRUGES" a 2008 dark comedy film starring Colin Farrell, Ralph Fiennes and Brendan Gleeson. Two hitmen hide out in the city of Bruges, and amidst the City's storybook background they come to terms with issues of guilt, morality and redemption. The film won Golden Globes for best film and Colin farrell for acting - A must for all film buffs.

Admission is free, there is a late bar and you may bring your own nibbles.

SATURDAY 11TH FEBRURY FROM 8 PM- VALENTINE'S CABERET SUPPER NIGHT

This year we are having a "Valentine's Caberet Supper Night" - which is something new we are trying in the club and hopefully giving members a chance for a great night out at low cost.The caberet will be provided by SAM & LEAH , female singing duo who are making their third visit to the club and have always been very well received. Their mixture of traditional and modern songs suit the club members very well. 

The Buffet Supper at £5 per head - is optional , but please put your name(s) on the list if you would like the supper. There is a late bar (midnight) on this evening

SUNDAY 12TH FEBRUARY 8 PM - FOLK NIGHT

We welcome back "Country Club" folk group for the first Folk Night of 2012.

They will be here on the second sunday of each month during this year. 

"Country Club" led by club member Ed Coughlan and friends (and relatives) give us an entertaining and relaxing evening of traditional and new folk music, and also in the second half give you an opportunity to try singing / playing in front of a live audience. So dust off your old guitar/ violin/ comb! infact anything and come along - you won't regret it.

SATURDAY 25TH FEBRUARY 7.0PM - BOWLS CLUB DINNER

This Dinner is for Bowl's Society members - please put your name on the list if you wish to attend.
